Cambodia is one of the fastest-growing countries in the region, with a young and dynamic population and a vibrant digital ecosystem. However, it also faces critical gaps in the digital transformation. EDDS is invited a second time to discuss critical data literacies and privacy needs at CamIDF.

About the event
The 6th Cambodia ICT and Digital Forum (CamIDF) aims to provide a platform that brings together national and international experts, practitioners, and the public to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices on the related topics. The Forum focuses on five key topics that are relevant and timely for the digital sector in Cambodia and the region, namely, understanding Chinese and Western digitisation coming into Cambodia, child online protection and digital literacy, the progress and challenges of the personal data protection law, open data policy, and the innovative and inclusive digital solutions and projects. EDDS has been invited a second time to take part in the presentations and lead in the devleopment of highly interactive participatory workshops with young people on the subject of data privacy and critical literacies around digital tehcnologies for education.
