EDDS aims to break the silos of knowledge in the educational ecosystem by bringing in all stakeholders in one common working space to communicate, share concerns and address challenges in education. 

We break these silos in three distinct ways:

• We conduct research and present evidence about the most pertinent issues in education with regards to EdTech, children's rights and freedoms and fill up the gaps in the existing corpus of knowledge ​

• We convene all stakeholders to ensure that everyone's voice is heard and that the challenges and opportunities from EdTech are interpreted in a sound and evidenced manner, while also building resilience and capacity to resist blind dependence on all things digital

• We advance through action by providing support and guidance for all stakeholders to ensure that children's rights and best interests are prioritised.
