At EDDS, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our web site. We are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses. In this Privacy Policy, we’ve made it clear that as a rule EDDS does not keep personal details of anyone visiting its website. We don’t store cookies, but from time to time we may check where people who visit our site are located using Google analytics or suchlike. Again we will not receive or hold any data that identifies any individual.
When someone visits www.edds-education.org we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Although as a matter of course, we will not hold or gather any information about you, you are entitled to check this and ask to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer at info@edds-education.org.
General data protection
Where you have given personal data to EDDS via other means, perhaps as a client or contractor or someone seeking to join EDDS, we will act in accordance with current data protection legislation and aim to meet current best practice with regard to the processing of personal data.
Where we have entered into a contractual arrangement with you, then the confidentiality of your data and how we retain or use it will be covered by our agreements.
When you provide us with personal information, included but not limited to via the website, email, in writing, or via other channels, we may collect certain information from you, such as your name, address, phone number, email address etc. We may use this information to acknowledge and respond to any of your queries or deal with contractual matters in the course of our joint business.
If you do not wish your information to be used in this manner then please contact info@edds-education.org. By providing details to EDDS you are deemed to have given consent to us to use such information (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) in this manner, unless and until you inform us otherwise.
We will retain the personal data we hold concerning you only for as long as we believe it to be current and necessary, unless you send us notice that you no longer wish it to retain this data.
